Designed by Urbanology Designs, this transitional farmhouse is full great interior design ideas. The client wanted a modern-luxe living space where there was plenty of extra seating for her family and friends. She wanted a minimal look that was fresh and incorporated lots of texture and contrast. Statement lighting was huge on her wishlist. This prompted the biggest design challenge for the space because the ceiling were so high and the designer had to find out where the existing electrical was in order to find out how much weight they could support. The other challenge was working within the dimensions of the existing floorplan, since they did not design it. The designer used the extra-large size room to divide the space into a main lounging area and a separate sitting nook in front of the fireplace.
In the end, this room really gives the biggest impact for guests because it is the first space they walk into, and they can immediately sense that this house is unlike any they’ve ever seen.

Hello, my wonderful friends!
I hope you liked seeing this open and airy home today. It feels very unique and fresh. Doesn’t it?
By the way, I am sorry I am a little late with the post today. I spent the morning running from one store to the next until I could find a wallpaper I liked and I finally found a great one at Sherwin Williams – and for a reasonable price! I am so happy! I mentioned before we’re renovating a bathroom and finishing our basement, right? I am working so much lately and I really can’t wait to see it all done.
Have a Blessed day, everyone. We’ll talk again tomorrow!
with Love,
Luciane from HomeBunch.com
